Laparoscopy surgery
At Paarthiv’s, we use cutting-edge techniques including laparoscopic surgery to provide the best possible results for our patients. Known by many as “keyhole surgery,” this cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment is used for a variety of pelvic and abdominal operations.
Advanced Care, Minimal Incision
Compared to traditional procedures, the trauma is minimized since our skilled surgeons can work with greater precision and less intrusion thanks to the use of a laparoscope, a thin rod equipped with a camera enabling our surgeons to do procedures with more accuracy and less invasiveness, resulting in less trauma than with traditional surgeries.
For many diseases, laparoscopic surgery is our method of choice. We prefer laparoscopic surgery for treatments like appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and multiple biopsies since it reduces scars, risk of infection, blood loss, recovery time, and length of hospital stay.
Nonetheless, we carefully consider whether laparoscopic surgery is appropriate for every patient. Alternative surgical techniques may be required due to specific illnesses, past surgical procedures, and particular health issues. Every patient at Paarthiv’s receives personalized care that is catered to their unique needs and medical circumstances thanks to the comprehensive consultations our staff gives to discuss the viability, possible advantages, and dangers of laparoscopic surgery.
We provide thorough preoperative instructions to our patients before laparoscopic surgery, which includes information on fasting and post-procedure transportation plans. The majority of patients recuperate quickly, going home the same day, and finishing their recovery in two to three weeks.

Laparoscopic Colon Resection
A minimally invasive surgical technique called a laparoscopic colon resection removes a portion of the large intestine (the colon) through 3-6 small incisions. It’s used for benign and malignant tumor removal.
Laparoscopic Inguinal Herniorrhaphy
Keyhole inguinal hernia repair involves general anesthesia, which will put you to sleep during the procedure. Instead of one bigger incision, it’s a keyhole surgery that typically creates three small incisions to fix the hernia.
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
A less invasive surgical technique called laparoscopic cholecystectomy removes a damaged gallbladder. This method has mainly taken the place of the open method for cholecystectomies since the early 1990s.
Gastric Banding
It is used to aid with weight loss. To construct a little pouch to hold food, the surgeon wraps a band around the upper portion of your stomach. The band makes you feel full after consuming tiny amounts of food, so it restricts how much you may consume.
Laparoscopic Appendectomy
It is a less intrusive procedure. Consequently, there isn’t a significant incision made. Rather, the appendix is removed with 1-3 little cuts. One of the incisions is used to insert a laparoscope. It has surgical instruments and a video camera.
Laparoscopic Kidney Stone Removal
A few minor incisions are made in the abdomen during the procedure to remove the stone. A stent will be implanted within the urinary tract by the surgeon following the procedure, and it will be removed one to two weeks later.
